Ready? Set - Taking the Plunge

Friends? Check.
Family? Check.
In-laws I get along great with? Check.
Big white dress? Check.
And finally... A really really great guy who believes in the same things I do, encourages me to a better person, loves Lord of the Rings (almost) as much as I do, lets me rant ON AND ON about hockey, laughs at my corny jokes no matter HOW awful they are, and gets all my lame engineering references? Check.

Deep breath.

Next time I post, insha Allah, I'll be Mrs. M.

omg! reading that made me shiver and tears welled up in my eyes all at the same time. Machallah! Inshallah! AAAAH! There's so much to tell you... about how lovely I think you are, and how much I hope for your future, and all the thousands of well-wishes and duah for you and your marriage. May Allah keep love & mercy between you always (and don't forget the mercy). All the best parenting advice I got was from your parents, so go ask them if you haven't already, lol! My love & salaams to you sister. xo

JAK Jen,
That was so nice to read... It'll probably be the last post from me for a while, unless I get a chance before we go to Egypt for a little... If not, I suspect my next post won't be until March. I miss you lots and love you lots and spend tons of time reading your blog when I just wanna spend some time with an old friend who's physically out of reach. Kisses and Hugs to the lion and the lamb. Insha Allah we'll all get a chance to see each other this summer.

Noha and Mohammed,
Congratulations on your wedding. May you find happiness, Joy, and many laughs in your years to come.
I would like to present the 2 of you few words that are dear to my heart, said many decades ago by my one of my favorite a poets, and wordsmiths:
But let there be spaces in your togetherness and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love: let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls. (Khalil Gibran)

JAKs Nariman,
Insha Allah when we see each other in person, you'll see pics. I'm not comfortable posting any online.
